Exponent was Founded by Liz Whitman, a beauty industry insider who spent 15+ years retailing “potent” clinical skincare products before having her A-HA moment while President of The Red Door by Elizabeth Arden. She realized that estheticians optimize precious active ingredients by mixing skincare fresh, in the moment. This led her to question: how effective can pre-mixed retail products be?
Whitman has previously founded two startups. She holds a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
