Alumni Ventures’ Blockchain Fund is focused on the universe of opportunities opened up by blockchain technology. It’s a chance to invest in a diversified portfolio of ~20-30 venture investments that use blockchain technology to change how business is conducted.

As we continue to evolve to a mobile and digital-first society, we believe blockchain will become critical for the coordination of resources and activities providing ways to record, store, share information about, and exchange assets. Alumni Ventures’ Blockchain Fund will focus on new sectors and ventures using blockchain tech. We will provide investors in the fund with a portfolio of ~20-30 promising, venture-backed companies innovating in areas like decentralized finance (DeFi), the Metaverse, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and more. This is an actively managed fund led by a three-person investing team, all with deep VC and blockchain experience.

Algorand is the creator of the world’s first foundational blockchain designed for the future of finance. The company develops next-gen blockchain tech centered around a more scalable, efficient, and faster consensus protocol based on Proof of Stake.

Mythical is a next-gen gaming platform building a digital ecosystem around player-owned economies. The company is aiming to offer gamers a modular, blockchain-based application with casual gameplay, customizable characters, and the ability to create customized digital products and NFTs.
